Crisis Journal: Capitalism Assumed Guilty
In this “journal” I do not necessarily focus on the current economic crisis. I do not aim to portray the statist conditions that maintain economic cycles, with all the theoretical details that explain the causes of the crisis. There have already been written and there will be written such stories, more or less technical, in the anatomy of the crisis. Here and now I am preoccupied to draw attention to an almost catastrophic implication: the radical denial of capitalism, with an entire set of myths, errors and mistakes. Beyond authentic economic theory on business cycles, the economist’s profession obliges us, maybe more than ever, to restore the truth about capitalism, about free market’s economic system. We need, from time to time, to resort to the logical filter of the economic science, in order to be able to peacefully evolve from “presumptions” to peaceful “verdicts”.
